Beyond Bondi: 3 Hidden Coastal Walks in Sydney
Everyone knows the classic Bondi to Coogee coastal walk, but when the crowds roll in during an Australian summer, the magic can get a bit lost. If you are keen to experience Sydney like a local, you need to head a little further off the beaten track.
My absolute favourite alternative is the Hermitage Foreshore Track in Vaucluse. It offers stunning, uninterrupted views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Shark Island without the wall-to-wall tourists. Another gem is the Spit to Manly walk, a rugged 10-kilometre trek that takes you through pristine native bushland and hidden coves.
Exploring these spaces alone can sometimes feel a bit isolating if you are new to the city. If you are ever looking for a friendly local companion to tackle a trail, grab a flat white, or share an afternoon chat, feel free to check out my availability on my companionship booking page!
